Emotional Intelligence Workshop – Develop Yourself for Leadership Success!
Kate King on February 27, 2017
The Athena Group member Sheri Willis, is leading this workshop which will provide an overview of the Six Seconds framework for understanding emotional intelligence and how it supports professional development. Emotional intelligence is the capacity to blend thinking and feeling to make optimal decisions – which is key to having successful relationships and improved effectiveness. The Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence model provides a framework for learning and action.
The Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence Assessment is scientifically validated, practical measure of emotional intelligence (EQ) that supports an individual’s relational and leadership skills and capacities. As part of this workshop you will take this assessment so that you can see your competency within this emotional intelligence framework. This workshop will guide you into deeper understanding of your emotional intelligence and provide ways and tools to develop your emotional intelligence. Developing emotional intelligence improves effectiveness in leadership, in teams and in relationships, and improves overall well-being and quality of life. In this course, you will learn how to increase your effectiveness by becoming more aware, more intentional, and more purposeful.
