Faith has been providing professional services to state agencies, cities and counties, transit authorities, and non-profit organizations since 1992. Her background is rooted in project management, meeting facilitation, citizen engagement, strategy and all facets of policy research and analysis as it relates to fiscal and social issues. Faith holds a systems view of the world, with the ability to traverse barriers and make connections between people, organizations and sectors. She speaks nationally about system leadership that creates the condition for co-learning and effective change.
In 2000, she launched her first company, FLT Consulting, as a result of her passion for better connecting citizens and government. This passion was an outgrowth of her work with the Association of Washington Cities, which provides legislative advocacy, insurance, and training to all of the cities in Washington State. As FLT Consulting grew in size and talent, she transitioned the company into a membership-based, mission-driven consulting firm – called The Athena Group.
Faith also holds a Masters in Public Administration degree from The Evergreen State College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from the University of Washington. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute and as a Charrette Planner by the National Charrette Institute. She is on the adjunct faculty of The Evergreen State College and is on the Collective Impact faculty for the Rider-Pool Foundation Fellowship Program. She is an active community member, serving on boards of the United Way of Thurston County, Thurston County Chamber of Commerce, and the Juvenile Diabetes South Sound Chapter.
