Lauri Valenta has over 20 years’ experience leading and coaching organizational improvements and transformation initiatives in the private and public sectors. She has studied dozens of processes and facilitated as many improvement workshops resulting in break-through improvements. She also facilitates strategic planning and deployment through measurement plans and linked visual management systems. Her passion is helping organizations and people to reach their fullest potential in service to their clients and their communities.
Lauri is a skilled, active facilitator with experience using liberating structures to create true engagement in teams. With an emphasis on leadership development, she has developed and delivered multiple training programs and provided active workplace observation of applied learning and coaching feedback to maximize skill development. Lauri is an experienced consultant and project manager who offers specific expertise in Lean and Theory of Constraints improvement methodologies, evaluating organization design, process performance, and workplace culture. She is respected for her ability to build relationships quickly and to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization and infusing Lean with humanism.
Lauri has a B.S. in non-profit management and holds a certificate in Change Management from the Acuity Institute. She studied political science and psychology at Northwest Missouri State University, the Toyota Production System (lean/kaizen) in Japan, and Production & Inventory Management at APICS, Seattle.
